  Problem: I bought the Launch X431 IMMO Software add-on kit for the PAD VII . I tried to activate software by renew card. It says 807_cardConfld is null. I just tried again but the error is the same. payment failed: 807_cardConfld is zero. Any solution? Solution: The error usually caused by the wrong device serial number. Double check your PAD VII (or PAD V/ Pro5 ) serial number is correct, confirm S/N with your seller and Launch X431 will add/fix license to your renew card. Euro Tab "name" was created for LaunchTech Europe to sell a European specific model and not have to compete against online seller's advertising the same thing (In this case the PAD VII). The Euro Tab is a European "Specific" model because of the name, the change in colour for the bumper cover and that the Home Screen is black and white only. ALL OTHER SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE IS EXACTLY THE SAME. But how it's sold "could" be different as a local vendor might add extra product/updates to entice buyers.  What's the difference between the new smartlink and old smartlink VCI of Launch X431 PAD VII ? X431shop.eu has two version Smartlink C, it will sent Randomly. Function is exactly the same. Old smart link is based on Android system and new VCI is based on Linux. New smartlink is faster.

  Problem: I received the Launch X431 PAD VII elite scanner and tried to hook it up to a BMW. But the new smartlink VCI cannot communicate with tablet. Error images attached. Any suggestion? Solution: Double check if the adapters are well connected. If yes, connect the tablet and smartlink VCI with vehicle and charge for half an hour. Restart PAD VII after half and hour. It should be fine.

  Problem: I was trying to clone transponder with Launch X431 PAD VII and X-prog3 , after inserting key into x-prog and reading key information, pad vii won't read the transponder information and said data communication failed. It asked to update key programming firmware, did it and gave another error device not response. Any solution? Solution: This function is under key programmer menu.
