Launch X431 PAD VII Failed to Connect with SmartLink VCI Solution

 Problem:

I received the Launch X431 PAD VII elite scanner and tried to hook it up to a BMW. But the new smartlink VCI cannot communicate with tablet. Error images attached. Any suggestion?

Solution:

Double check if the adapters are well connected.

If yes, connect the tablet and smartlink VCI with vehicle and charge for half an hour.

Restart PAD VII after half and hour. It should be fine.
