LAUNCH X431 V+ HD: Test MAN TGM (Fire Truck) Dimmer & Buzzer

 The LAUNCH X431 truck diagnostic tool supports diagnostics for specialized vehicles (such as ambulances and fire trucks). This article will describe how to use the LAUNCH X431 V+ HD (SmartLink) to diagnose and test the dimmer and buzzer of a 2013 MAN TGM (fire truck).

Operating steps:

Connect the LAUNCH X431 V+ SmartLink HD to the vehicle. Select [Local Diagnosis] -> [MAN]. MAN truck software should be V16.95 or later.

Select [Full Vehicle Model Scan (More Time)], and cilck [Smart Detection].

Select [System List] -> [Instrumention]

Confirm vehicle information and click [OK] to proceed to the next step.

Select [Actuation Test] -> [Dimmer] -> [Buzzer].

Click on [Activated 100%], and the vehicle will activate the buzzer.

After confirming that the buzzer is working properly, click [Activated 0%]. This completes all operations.
