LAUNCH X431: Initialize Ford Nautilus driver power window
The driver’s door of a vehicle can control all the windows. If this module malfunctions, the LAUNCH X431 diagnostic tool can be used for initialization. This article will guide you on how to reset the power window control system on the driver’s door of a Ford Nautilus using the LAUNCH X431 PAD V ELITE.
Function description: This program will perform a full up and down travel of the window to learn the upper and lower stop positions and soft stop positions to initialize the driver power window.
NOTE: This function is used to reset the power window software control. If the vehicle’s power window components are damaged, this function may not solve the problem. It is recommended to replace the power window components.

Procedure:
1. Connect the X431 diagnostic tool to the vehicle. On the X431 PAD V, select [Local Diagnose].
2. Choose [Ford] to test.
3. Choose [Automatically Search] to identify car models automatically.
4. Click [System Scan] to scan the entire vehicle systems.
5. Click [DDM (Driver Door Module)] to access the system.
6. Click [Special Functions].
7. Click [Driver Power Door Window Initialization], and click [OK].
8. The driver power door window initialization program is completed.
