LAUNCH X431 Software Mall Related Introduction

 The LAUNCH X431 tool has a built-in software mall. You only need to open the X-431 APP on the diagnostic tool and select the "MALL" option to enter. There are many software in the X431 software mall, but few people have talked about how to choose and buy. This article will briefly introduce the relevant matters of LAUNCH X431 MALL.

It is not recommended to purchase the "Reset function" separately in the MALL, as it has very few functions. It is recommended to purchase the software directly according to the vehicle brand, which will include most functions.

There are currently no software packages in the MALL (such as the heavy truck diagnostic software package), because you still need to buy non-standard connectors. It is recommended to buy software packages in online stores (such as x431shop.eu) or offline stores.

Note: The MALL will soon release IMMO software packages, but the others will still be single-function software.

MALL has already launched a separate VAG SGW license, and will launch separate licenses for FCA and Renault gateways in the future (but BENZ vehicle licenses will not be launched separately).

FCA SGW and VAG SGW can be purchased by X431 PAD and PRO series (including CRP919EBT/ CRP919XBT), but Renault SGW gateway can only be purchased with diagnostic devices equipped with Smartlink.

Currently, the X431 diagnostic devices equipped with Smartlink are:

PRO3 V+ Elite;

PRO3S+ ELITE;

X431 PRO5;

X431 PAD V ELITE;

X431 PAD VII ELITE;

X431 PAD IX.

The database software of X431 can be purchased separately. It is called "X431 FIX" in the X431 function menu, and the database is "CarSet Pro". The product name of the database when purchased is "European Database License" ($1915).

When purchasing a gateway, users must remember to leave their contact information, because the authorization of these gateways is the responsibility of LAUNCH and European dealers, and mutual authentication is required.

ADAS software package is activated in the main menu of X431 APP. The activation option is not in the mall page. Other software packages are activated in the mall page.

Note: X431 IMMO PLUS supports ADAS function.

LAUNCH X431 Heavy Duty Truck Package (LAUNCH X431 HD Package) can now be used on PRO3S+ ELITE and PRO3 V+ ELITE in addition to PAD series and PRO5.

There is a simple way to choose SmartLink Heavy Duty (HD) tool, that is to check the size of your X431 diagnostic device:

10-inch X431 diagnostic device uses Smartlink HD package;

8-inch X431 diagnostic device uses Smartlink HD Lite package.
