LAUNCH X431 Diagnostic Tool Online Coding BMW 740Li Lights

 LAUNCH X431 PAD series diagnostic tools and PRO5 tools support BMW Online Coding function, which can be used when the vehicle module has a fault code (DTC). For example, after the vehicle replaces the right rear light, the onboard computer cannot recognize it normally, and the LAUNCH X431 diagnostic tool can be used to handle it.

Function description: Replace the right rear light and handle the following errors:

021E08 Coding: Control unit RLMIR is not coded.

Supported products:

X431 PAD V ELITE;

X431 PAD VII ELITE;

X431 PRO 5(SmartLink).

Tested model: 2020 BMW 740Li, VIN: WBA7T2106LCE68****

Procedure:

1. Connect the LAUNCH X431 diagnostic device to the vehicle, select the BMW model, automatically diagnose the vehicle, and keep the network connection. On the diagnostic result interface, choose [Coding/Program].

2. Choose [Coding].

3. Confirm the vehicle information and then choose [NEXT].

4. Choose the corresponding system [RLMIR (Inner right rear light module)].

5. To continue coding, choose [YES].

6. RLMIR (Inner right rear light module) ECU Did Not Read Out The Corresponding Code Configuration The Possible Values By Calculating Are As Follows, Select The Desired Data Integrity Level.

NOTE: (*) Is A Recommended Select Item.

7. Click [Continue], and wait for encoding to complete.

8. Coding is successful. Click OK to exit.
