LAUNCH X431 Can Bus Test function: Test communication issue

 When performing vehicle diagnosis, the LAUNCH X431 diagnostic tool may encounter communication problems that cause it to be unable to read and diagnose the vehicle. So how can you test whether the communication is normal? LAUNCH X431 has a built-in CAN BUS test function, which can be used to test the communication.

Operation Process:

1. Open the X-431 APP, click [X431 Diagnosis Kit] -> [HD Can Bus Test].

Note: This function is divided into [CAN Bus Pin Detect] and [HD Can Bus Test]. When using, you should select the corresponding vehicle type. This time the test is a truck, so [HD Can Bus Test] is selected.

2. You can see the Can Bus Pin Detection interface. Click [START DIAGNOSING].

3. Wait for Pin detection to complete (Pin detection can be used to detect the voltage at the vehicles 9 pin diagnostic connector and the supported protocol types to help technicians in diagnosing CANbus issues. If CANbus traffic is not found, diagnose the faulty vehicle wiring as necessary).

4. You can see the test results in the upper right corner.
