How to add oscilloscope APP to LAUNCH CRP919E-BT
LAUNCH CRP919E BT / CRP919X BT currently does not support the oscilloscope module, so is there any way to install a third-party oscilloscope APP for vehicle diagnosis? The answer is yes, this article will introduce how to do it.
LAUNCH CRP919 series uses Android operating system, so third-party APPs can be installed.
After opening X-431 APP, select [Other Modules] -> [Files] -> [APP]. Under this menu you can see most of the applications of CRP919.
Open [Google Play Store], you can install various software, such as YouTube, Chrome (for web search).
For oscilloscope applications, you can choose the [HScope] APP.
Note: After installing [HScope] from [Google Play Store], its icon may not appear on the main interface. You need to open it in [Other Modules] -> [Files] -> [APP] interface when using it.
After we have the HScope APP, we connect the oscilloscope device and can view the band diagram on the LAUNCH CRP919 tool.
Finally, for the selection of oscilloscope equipment, we recommend LAUNCH O2–2 (4 Channels) or LAUNCH S2–2 (2 Channels) for fuel vehicles, and LAUNCH EM101N (2 Channels) for electric vehicles.
