LAUNCH SmartLink Remote Diagnostics: Connect and diagnose via key code
LAUNCH SmartLink’s remote diagnosis function provides users with an Internet diagnosis solution. It is a good choice for both auto repair experts and novice users.
Previously, we introduced how to publish and accept requests on the LAUNCH remote diagnosis platform (See also: How to register, bind, activate and use Smartlink). But if you have contacted the mechanic in advance through other means, there is an easier way for the mechanic to connect to your SmartLink: remote connection using a key code.
1. First, insert SmartLink C into the vehicle’s OBD port and set up the network connection.
2. Enter [Remote Diagnostic Mode], Smartlink will generate a 6-digit key. Send the key to the auto repair expert and wait for the expert to connect.
The expert connects to the user’s SmartLink and begins remote diagnosis.
