LAUNCH-X431 PAD5 HD3: MAN Clutch Relearn Gearbox Match
This is a quick guide on how to do MAN clutch relearn gearbox match with LAUNCH-X431 PAD5 Elite + SmartLink C 2.0 HD3.
Connect PAD V Elite to OBD port, waiting for the HD3 to start up.
Local Diagnosis >> Manufacturer >> Man(HD) >> OK >> Special Functions >> Clutch Relearn >> Clutch >> Calibration >> New Clutch Retrofitted
User Instructions
The following prerequisites must be ensured during the actuator test:
Vehicle secured to prevent it from rolling away.
Gearbox in neutral
Engine running
Do not press the accelerator
Sufficient compressed air in the compressed-air tank
No entries present in the control unit diagnostic memory.
Press OK.
Please switch off the ignition.
Please wait 10s!
Please switch on the ignition.
Speed up clutch adaptation: Completed
Program clutch biting pint: Completed
Reset characteristic curve: Completed
New clutch fitted: Completed
Reset clutch load: Completed
Delete diagnostic memory: Completed
Routine completed successfully
Test Report
Start-up has successfully been completed.
Used clutch retrofitted >> OK
Please switch off the ignition.
Please wait 10s!
Please switch on the ignition.
Speed up clutch adaptation: Completed
Program clutch biting pint: Completed
Reset characteristic curve: Completed
Set intial clutch position completed

Delete diagnostic memory: completed
