LAUNCH-X431 Pro3 ACE vs. Pro3 vs. Pro3s+ vs. Pro TT vs. Pro Dyno

In addition to the latest Smartlink, LAUNCH diagnostic tool adapters also include DBscar VII. Currently, the main products using DBscar VII are: X-431 PRO3 ACE, X-431 PRO3 APEX, X-431 PRO3 (V5.0), X-431 PRO TT, X-431 PRO DYNO. This article will compare the differences between these products (Although the PRO3S+ (V5.0) has replaced the Smartlink, the functions are basically the same, so we also include it in this comparison).

Note: PRO3 ACE and PRO3 APEX are the same products customized by different dealers, with the same hardware and functions, and can be regarded as the same product (similar to CRP919E BT and CRP919X BT).

From the chart we can see:

Pro TT and Pro Dyno are 8 inch tablets, Pro3 ACE, Apex, Pro3 V5 and Pro3s+ V5 are 10 inch tablets (there is a small rule for LAUNCH tablet devices, the higher the product, the larger the size, and the 10.1-inch PRO3S+ product is positioned higher than the 8-inch product).

They all support CAN FD and DoIP protocol (DoIP requires a DoIP cable).

They all cannot do online programming (no smartlink VCI).

Pro TT and Pro Dyno 8 inch tablets are not compatible with heavy duty modules, and do not support Topology mapping.

The new Pro3 V5.0 (aka V+ v5.0) now shares the same functions as Pro3s+ V5.0. Only appearance difference.
