Launch X-prog3 PC Adapter Error 616 Device IP Area Restrictions?

 Problem:

I have been a long time owner of Launch x431 v+ and xprog 3. Everything has been working for a long time. Now I bought PC adapter for x-prog3, and I see "IP Restricted" error. I'm using this adapter in Italy. But it does not work. Is there a solution to this problem? Or do I have to change adapter?

Solution:

You got the Chinese version PC adapter. It is IP limited out of China.
Make sure you get the correct English/Global version of PC adapter for English machines.
